Nooks, Sentra, Traversal, Bites and Finpilot raised money between October 29 and November 5, 2026, and each said the money will grow its sales or go-to-market team. fullthrottle.ai, an ad tech platform for mid-market brands and agencies, named Jon Camerata chief revenue officer on November 4. At LOCALiQ, Jon Camerata ran a revenue organization of more than $300 million across local, national, partner and inside sales. "My focus is building a high-performance revenue team," Jon Camerata said. [2]

MNTN, the connected TV ad company, is rebuilding its sales team. On its third-quarter earnings call, CEO Tony Weisman said about 40% of its experienced quota-carrying sellers left after the company changed how sellers were paid, including a shift in incentives from revenue to activity. MNTN has fixed the plans, hired 16 new sellers and starts a new-hire class later in November. It also hired new leaders for brand sales and agency sales. [5]

Deals that could reshape sales teams
Salesforce, which agreed to buy Braze in October, signed a deal to buy Cresta, a voice AI company for customer service. Its voice agents handle customer calls for brands including Marriott, Comcast and Alaska Airlines. The announcement did not give a price. The deal is expected to close in Salesforce's first quarter of fiscal 2028. [15]
Docusign bought Suplari, an AI procurement company, to add spending and supplier insights to its agreement management platform. The announcement did not give a price. [16]
Affle agreed to buy ad tech company Perion for $11.70 a share in cash, about $420 million. The deal needs shareholder and regulatory approval and is expected to close in early 2027. [17]
The market in one number
92.49. That was Indeed's index of US sales job postings on October 30, where February 2020 equals 100. It is up from 92.33 a week earlier and from 91.77 a year earlier. It started 2026 at 97.66, so sales postings are about 5% lower than in January. [18] The percentage is our math from the published index.
What to do this week
Go where the money went. On November 6, 2026, Nooks's public job board listed 18 sales roles, including account executive and SDR seats, some in EMEA and APAC. Traversal's listed 8 sales roles, including four enterprise account executive territories. Sentra, Bites and Finpilot said they are building sales teams, so reach out before their roles are posted.
Ask how the pay plan has changed. MNTN lost about 40% of its experienced sellers after a pay plan change. Before you accept an offer, ask how often the comp plan changed in the last two years and how commissions are paid.
Ask about Cresta. Selling contact center or service software at Salesforce or Cresta? Ask how territories and quotas will change once the deal closes.
