    Open ChatGPT Plugins

    In ChatGPT, open Settings, choose Plugins, and make sure Developer mode is enabled.

    Add the Account Executive Jobs connection

    Use the MCP server address https://mcp.accountexecutivejobs.com/mcp.

    Sign in to Account Executive Jobs

    ChatGPT opens the Account Executive Jobs OAuth screen. Continue with email, Google, or LinkedIn using the account you want connected.

    Approve and start a fresh chat

    After OAuth completes, attach Account Executive Jobs to a new chat. Refresh the connection if ChatGPT still shows an older action list.

  • Developer mode is required until the app is publicly distributed in ChatGPT.
  • Quick Apply supports hosted AE Jobs listings; there is no bulk or autonomous applying.
  • Resume text review supports bounded PDF and DOCX files, without OCR for image-only files.
  • Preference controls send no immediate email, and automatic weekly scheduling is not installed yet.

Does ChatGPT use the account already open in my browser?

Not automatically. ChatGPT starts a separate OAuth sign-in with Account Executive Jobs. If your browser already has the same provider session, sign-in may finish quickly, but browser cookies are not handed to ChatGPT.

What does OAuth give ChatGPT access to?

The connection requests the openid identity scope. Account Executive Jobs then checks your current role, company membership, record ownership, and billing state on the server for every protected action.

Can ChatGPT apply to jobs or change hiring data automatically?

No. Quick Apply, job lifecycle changes, applicant stage changes, private notes, preference updates, and connected-tool handoffs use an exact preview and explicit confirmation boundary. Bulk or autonomous applying is not supported.

Are resumes and applications public?

No. Resumes, applications, contact snapshots, employer notes, and recipient emails remain private. Protected tools recheck the signed-in user and ownership before returning authorized information, and resume storage paths are never returned.

Will an employer job go live immediately?

No. ChatGPT can submit an eligible employer job only to the private pending-review queue. Account Executive Jobs publishes it after human review.
