Account Executive Jobs helps candidates find account executive and sales roles and helps employers post and manage sales hiring activity. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how you can ask us to delete it.
We do not sell personal information.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, including:
- Account information, such as name, email address, phone number, role type, and login details handled through Clerk.
- Candidate profile information, such as job preferences, location, LinkedIn URL, resume files, and application details.
- Employer information, such as company name, hiring contact details, job posts, application questions, billing details, and support requests.
- Job application information, including application answers, resume metadata, consent timestamps, and profile details captured when you apply.
- Contact form messages and support requests.
- Email alert preferences and unsubscribe status.
We may also collect technical and usage information, including pages viewed, searches, apply clicks, device information, browser information, IP-derived security signals, and analytics events.
How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide job search, job posting, application, resume, employer dashboard, and account features.
- Show candidates relevant jobs and send job alerts if they opted in.
- Let employers review applications submitted to their jobs.
- Send transactional emails, welcome emails, support replies, billing messages, job alerts, and account notices.
- Prevent spam, abuse, fraud, scraping, and unauthorized access.
- Measure site performance, job board usage, and conversion activity.
- Improve Account Executive Jobs and decide what to build next.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
How information is shared
We do not sell personal information.
We share information only when needed to operate the site, provide a requested feature, or comply with the law. This may include:
- Employers receiving application information that a candidate submits to that employer’s job.
- Service providers that help run the site, including hosting, authentication, database, storage, email, analytics, and payment tools.
- Third-party job application sites when a candidate chooses to apply through an external company or ATS link.
- Legal, security, or compliance recipients when required to protect users, the service, or legal rights.
We currently use providers such as Clerk for authentication, Supabase for database and private resume storage, Resend for email, Cloudflare for hosting and security, and Stripe for payments where billing features are used.
Resumes and applications
Resume files and application details are private. They are not public profile pages. Employers can access application information submitted to their jobs through protected employer workflows.
If you apply to an external job, you may leave Account Executive Jobs and submit information directly to the employer or its application system. Their privacy policy will apply to that external submission.
Cookies and analytics
We may use cookies, local storage, analytics, and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember preferences, protect accounts, understand usage, and improve performance.
Data retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain records, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
You can ask us to delete your personal information. Some limited records may be retained when required for security, legal, tax, payment, fraud prevention, or operational reasons.
Your choices
You can:
- Update account, profile, resume, employer, and preference information where dashboard controls are available.
- Unsubscribe from job alert emails using the unsubscribe link in those emails.
- Ask us to delete your information.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
- Contact us with privacy questions.

Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. No internet service can guarantee perfect security. You should use a strong password, protect your email account, and report suspicious activity.
Children
Account Executive Jobs is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the product changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
