Account Executive Jobs helps candidates find account executive and sales roles and helps employers post and manage sales hiring activity. Account Executive Jobs is operated by 854 Labs (“we” or “us”). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how you can ask us to delete it.
We do not sell personal information.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, including:
- Account information, such as name, email address, phone number, role type, and login details handled through Clerk.
- Candidate profile information, such as job preferences, location, LinkedIn URL, resume files, and application details.
- Employer information, such as company name, hiring contact details, job posts, application questions, billing details, and support requests.
- Job application information, including application answers, resume metadata, consent timestamps, and profile details captured when you apply.
- Contact form messages and support requests.
- Email alert preferences and unsubscribe status.
- Requests and authorized account data used through the Account Executive Jobs app for ChatGPT, Codex, or Claude, including the specific job, preference, application, employer, or hiring-workflow information needed to complete the request.
We may also collect technical and usage information, including pages viewed, searches, apply clicks, device information, browser information, IP-derived security signals, and analytics events.
How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide job search, job posting, application, resume, employer dashboard, and account features.
- Show candidates relevant jobs and send job alerts if they opted in.
- Let employers review applications submitted to their jobs.
- Send transactional emails, welcome emails, support replies, billing messages, job alerts, and account notices.
- Prevent spam, abuse, fraud, scraping, and unauthorized access.
- Measure site performance, job board usage, and conversion activity.
- Improve Account Executive Jobs and decide what to build next.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
AI assistant apps (ChatGPT, Codex, and Claude)
If you connect the Account Executive Jobs app, the AI assistant provider you use (OpenAI for ChatGPT and Codex, or Anthropic for Claude) sends tool requests to our hosted service on your behalf. Clerk authenticates the connection, and we use the authenticated account and its permissions to decide what the plugin may read or change. We do not receive your AI assistant password or your Google or LinkedIn password.
The plugin may return public jobs and, when you request an authenticated workflow, the minimum account, preference, application, resume-derived, employer, company, or hiring information needed to complete that workflow. Private candidate and employer data is returned only after account and ownership checks. Consequential actions use a preview and confirmation step where the workflow requires one.
For employer resume review, an authorized tool may return a bounded text excerpt from a submitted PDF or DOCX resume to the AI assistant provider. It does not return the storage path, a signed download URL, or the raw file. Resume and applicant content is treated as untrusted data, not instructions.
An employer can request a minimized application packet for a separately connected app. Our handoff tool prepares a preview; it does not send the packet to that destination. A transfer requires confirmation of the exact packet and destination and a separate call to that app. The destination’s terms and privacy policy apply to information deliberately transferred there. We do not request or retrieve your full conversation history.
The AI assistant provider (OpenAI or Anthropic) processes the conversation, tool request, and tool result needed to provide the app experience under its own terms and privacy policy. Do not connect or use the app if you do not want the information requested in that workflow sent to that provider.
How information is shared
We do not sell personal information.
We share information only when needed to operate the site, provide a requested feature, or comply with the law. This may include:
- Employers receiving application information that a candidate submits to that employer’s job.
- Service providers that help run the site, including hosting, authentication, database, storage, email, analytics, and payment tools.
- OpenAI or Anthropic when you choose to use the Account Executive Jobs app in ChatGPT, Codex, or Claude. We send only the data needed for the workflow you request and that your authenticated account is authorized to access.
- Third-party job application sites when a candidate chooses to apply through an external company or ATS link.
- Legal, security, or compliance recipients when required to protect users, the service, or legal rights.
We currently use providers such as Clerk for authentication, Supabase for database and historical private resume files, Resend for email, Cloudflare for hosting, security, and private resume storage in R2, Stripe for payments where billing features are used, and OpenAI and Anthropic for the optional ChatGPT, Codex, and Claude app experiences.
Resumes and applications
Resume files and application details are private. They are not public profile pages. Employers can access application information submitted to their jobs through protected employer workflows.
New resume uploads use private Cloudflare R2 storage. Historical files in Supabase Storage remain accessible through the same protected workflows. Applications retain the submitted information and resume reference as an immutable snapshot; later profile or resume changes do not rewrite an already submitted application. Contact us about deletion of submitted information.
For new applications submitted through Account Executive Jobs, Cloudflare Workers AI compares readable text from the submitted résumé with the job description. We remove known contact identifiers before this processing. The result is a private résumé evidence score, supported strengths, and gaps for the receiving employer to verify. It is not a prediction of performance and does not automatically select, reject, or change an applicant’s stage. We do not use protected personal characteristics as matching criteria.
The assessment is retained with the application and is available only through authorized employer review. An employer using an optional AI assistant app (ChatGPT, Codex, or Claude) can request the assessment or compare selected applications, which shares those results with that assistant’s provider (OpenAI or Anthropic). We do not automatically process applications submitted before this feature was introduced. We do not log résumé prompts or model responses. Cloudflare states that it does not use Workers AI customer content to train models or improve services without explicit consent.
If you apply to an external job, you may leave Account Executive Jobs and submit information directly to the employer or its application system. Their privacy policy will apply to that external submission.
Cookies and analytics
We may use cookies, local storage, analytics, and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember preferences, protect accounts, understand usage, and improve performance.
Data retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain records, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
You can ask us to delete your personal information. Some limited records may be retained when required for security, legal, tax, payment, fraud prevention, or operational reasons.
Your choices
You can:
- Update account, profile, resume, employer, and preference information where dashboard controls are available.
- Unsubscribe from job alert emails using the unsubscribe link in those emails.
- Ask us to delete your information.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
- Disconnect the app in ChatGPT, Codex, or Claude to stop using that connection. Disconnecting does not delete your AE Jobs account, submitted applications, or copies already shared with OpenAI, Anthropic, or a destination app.

Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. No internet service can guarantee perfect security. You should use a strong password, protect your email account, and report suspicious activity.
Children
Account Executive Jobs is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the product changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
