Head of Technical SEO
Mason is the Account Executive Jobs mascot and unofficial Head of Technical SEO. His main responsibilities are morale, quality control by proximity, and making technical SEO feel less miserable.
He is especially interested in clean canonical tags, tidy sitemaps, fast pages, and post-deploy walks.
Background
Mason grew up on the mean streets of Tustin, CA and served two back to back sentences at the Orange County pound. Despite his rough upbringing, he has since dedicated himself to the tehcnical aspects of SEO and in his short 3 years has become an expert in the matter.
Mason keeps an eye on the parts of technical SEO that make job boards messy: duplicate URLs, weird redirects, sitemap clutter, stale pages, and anything that looks like it needs to be checked twice before it goes live.

Mason does not write hiring advice, review jobs, or make editorial claims. He actually doesn’t do any ‘real’ work. He is here for morale, page-quality supervision, and the occasional reminder that everything is going to be alright.
